Last week I told you about the most amazing waffles I had. I’m still dreaming about them. I hope you’ve made them. You should’ve. When I started dreaming up my ideas of breakfast for dinner, I knew that I couldn’t serve just waffles and pancakes. So, I made this heavenly fruit salad. Seriously. And I served it all with a little bubbly, of course.
It all started with some lavender, and then lemon zest joined the party, along with a little bit of sugar. Last to show up was a splash of vanilla (I used some clear vanilla that a client let me play around with… have you ever tried it?).
Toss all that around with your favorite berries, apples, pears, grapes, you name it… except melon. I don’t think that would be too tasty. Here’s what I used: blueberries, strawberries, Fuji apple, and red grapes.
